Paul Keating

Paul Keating is a founding partner of Shelby Operations Partners and advises investment organizations on operational transformation, fund infrastructure, governance, and institutional operating models.

Drawing on more than fourteen years of experience leading complex operational initiatives, Paul has served as a fractional Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for proprietary investment funds while overseeing regulatory requirements, SEC filings, audits, and multi-jurisdictional reporting obligations. His experience includes negotiating and implementing fund structures, leading technology integrations, and designing operational frameworks that support scalable growth.

Paul specializes in helping firms navigate periods of transition, expansion, and increasing complexity by aligning operational processes with strategic objectives. His practical approach combines institutional rigor with hands-on execution, enabling organizations to strengthen controls, improve efficiency, and build durable infrastructure for the future.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with majors in Accounting, Finance, and Operations Management.
